Girls Varsity Track vs. Ada High School

Hopewell-Loudon Girls advanced two Relay Teams and two individuals to the Regional Meet at Port Clinton next week.
Advancing were the 4 x 800 Relay Team of Izzy Frankart, Hannah Schreiner, Alivia Roerdink and Hanna Wyman, the 4 x 400 Team of Megan Kreais, Wyman, Frankart and Roerdink, High Jumper Megan Kreais and Alivia Roerdink in the 800 Meter Run with a new school record.
Megan was the District Runner Up and Alivia was District Champion.
Also scoring points for the Chieftains were Frankart in the 400, Roerdink in the Long Jump and Macy Breidenbach in the Pole Vault.

The Lady Chieftains finished right in the middle at the SBC Championships on Friday night in Clyde. Final Scores were Gibsonburg 112, Danbury 110.5, Old Fort 97, Calvert 92.5, Hopewell-Loudon 92, Fremont SJCC 75, Lakota 33, Sandusky SMCC 31, and New Riegel 16.
Alivia Roerdink earned two SBC Championships, winning both the 400 meters and the 800 meters. She set a new Hopewell-Loudon School Record in the 400 with a time of 59.74.
Gaining 2nd Place Finishes were Roerdink in the Long Jump and Megan Kreais in the HIgh Jump.
Also earning League Honors with 3rd Place Finishes were the 4 x 800 Relay team of Izzy Frankart, Hanna Wyman, Hannah Schreiner and Roerdink, and the 4 x 400 team of Kreais, Frankart, Wyman and Laney Nye.

The Lady Chieftains captured the Championship at the Dick Schultz Invite on Saturday at Hopewell-Loudon. Final score was H-L 162, Gibsonburg 138.5, Calvert 119, Delta 115, Antwerp 71.5, Buckeye Central 44, New Riegel 42 and Bucyrus 26.
Picking up 1st Place Finishes for the girls were Megan Kreais in the High Jump, Anna Daniel in the Discus, Alivia Roerdink in the 400 meters and 800 meters, and the 4 x 1600 relay of Emma HIntze, Jenna Brown, Delana Wright and Abby Oswalt.
Gaining 2nd Place Finishes were Roerdink in the Long Jump, Macy Breidenbach in the Pole Vault, Maddie Jordan in the Triple Jump, the 4 x 800 relay of Izzy Frankart, Hanna Wyman, Hintze and Roerdink, and the 4 x 200 team of Hope Kreais, Megan Kreais, Alayna Jones and Frankart.

Hopewell-Loudon Girls finished 2nd in a 5 team meet at Riverdale last night. The host team won with 122 points, followed by H-L with 97, Pandora-Gilboa 45, Arcadia 43 and Arlington 41.
Taking 1st Place finishes for H-L were Alivia Roerdink in the 800, 1600 and Long Jump, Anna Daniel in the Discus, Megan Kreais in the 300 Hurdles, and the 4 x 400 team of Kreais, Roerdink, Izzy Frankart and Alayna Jones.
Gaining 2nd Place finishes were Kreais in the High Jump, the 4 x 800 team of Frankart, Hanna Wyman, Abby Oswalt and Emma Hintze, the 4 x 200 team of Hope Kreais, Maddie Jordan, Jones and Frankart, the 4 x 100 team of Hope Kreais, Emily Brickner, Jones and Jordan, and Hintze in the 3200.

The H-L Girls finished 11th of 15 teams in a very competitive Milan Edison Invitational on Saturday.
Alivia Roerdink was the lone champion, winning the 800 Meter Run. Others scoring points were the 4 x 800 team of Roerdink, Izzy Frankart, Hannah Schreiner and Hanna Wyman with a 6th place finish, Megan Kreais with a 7th in the HIgh Jump, the 4 x 400 team of Alayna Jones, Laney Nye, Frankart and Roerdink with a 7th, Roerdink with an 8th in the Long Jump, and the 4 x 200 team of Megan Kreais, Hope Kreais, Jones and Frankart with an 8th place finish.
Girls Varsity Track vs. Gibsonburg Middle/High School

H-L Girls placed 2nd in a five team meet at Gibsonburg on Tuesday. The host team won with 118 points followed by Hopewell-Loudon with 89, Old Fort with 77, Calvert 47 and New Riegel 20.
Taking 1st places were Alivia Roerdink in the Long Jump and 400, Megan Kreais in the High Jump. and Anna Daniel in both the Shot and Discus.
Second place finishers were Ava Kirian in the Discus, Izzy Frankart in the 800. and the 4 x 200 relay team of Hope Kreais, Megan Kreais, Maddie Jordan and Frankart.

The H-L Girls finished 6th of 15 teams at the Lakota Invite on Saturday. The Final Meet Score was Margaretta 136, Woodmore 130.5, Otsego 71.5, Clyde70.5, Gibsonburg 68, H-L 48, Genoa 37, Old Fort 33, Fostoria 29.5. Calvert 28, Fremont SJCC 15, Lakota 12, Maumee Valley C.D. 10, New Riegel 5, and Cardinal Stritch 1.
Top Finishers were Alivia Roerdink taking a 1st in the 800 meter run, Megan Kreais, 2nd in the High Jump, Anna Daniel with a 4th in the Discus, Roerdink 4th in the Long Jump, and the 4 x 800 relay team of Izzy Frankart, Hanna Wyman, Hannah Schreiner and Roerdink was also 4th.

The Lady Chieftains finished 1st of 5 teams in a meet hosted by Fremont SJCC on Thursday nite. Final score was H-L 108, Gibsonburg 99, Fremont SJCC 49, Lakota 45 and Calvert 44.
Event winners were Alivia Roerdink in the Long Jump, 1600 and 800, Megan Kreais in the High Jump. and Emma Hintze in the 3200.
Picking up 2nd Place finishes were Megan Kreais in the 100 Hurdles, Maddie Jordan in the 100, Izzy Frankart in the 400, Hanna Wyman in the 3200, Anna Daniel in the Shot Put, and the 4 x 800 Relay of Roerdink, Frankart, Wyman and Hannah Schreiner,

Girls' Track finished 4th of 8 teams at the Carey Blue Devil Relays on Saturday. Riverdale won the meet with 124 points, followed by Carey with 116.5, Gibsonburg 100, H-L 95, Upper Sandusky 74.5, Arlington 46, Tiffin Calvert 44.5 and North Baltimore 27.5.
The Pole Vault team of Macy Breidenbach, Megan Kreais and Jada Breidenbach was the lone 1st Place Finish. Gaining 2nd Place Finishes were the Long Jump team of Alivia Roerdink, Maddie Jordan and Delana Wright, and the Freshman Sprint Medley with Jordan, Maddy Colatruglio, Laney Nye and Hannah Schreiner.
There were lots of 3rds with the Discus Team of Anna Daniel, Ava Kirian and Olivia Sauber, the Shot Put team of Anna & Abby Daniel and Sauber, the High Jump team of Megan Kreais, Alex Jackson and Colatruglio, the Distance Medley of Hanna Wyman, Izzy Frankart, Abby Oswalt and Roerdink, the 4 x 800 team of Wyman, Oswalt, Emma Hintze and Roerdink, and the Throwers 4 x 100 with Jules Poland, Sauber, Rachel Cooper and Cambree Miller all getting third place finishes.

The H-L Girls' Track team opened their season at home last nite with a 5 team meet against Gibsonburg, Danbury, Calvert and Sandusky SMCC. The Lady Chieftains finished 2nd in a very close meet, final score was Danbury 94, H-L 92, Gibsonburg 89, Calvert 49 and SMCC 20.
Hopewell-Loudon was led by Anna Daniel's 1st Place finishes in both the Shot Put and the Discus, and Alivia Roerdink taking 1st in the Long Jump and the 800 meter run. Other 1st Places were gained by Megan Kreais in the High Jump and Macy Breidenbach in the Pole Vault.
Seconds were taken by the 4 x 800 relay team of Hanna Wyman, Hannah Schreiner, Abby Oswalt and Roerdink, Megan Kreais in the 100 Hurdles, the 4 x 200 team of Kreais, Laney Nye, Alayna Jones and Alex Jackson, and Oswalt in the 3200 meter run.
