The Lady Chieftains got off to a great start in their first meet last nite, coming out on top in a 5 team meet. The scores were H-L 113, Carey 104, Riverdale 70, Vanlue 33 and Crestline 22. Gaining 1st place finishes for the Chieftains were Abbi Roerdink in the 400, Taylor Leiter in the Pole Vault and the 800, Hope Kreais in the 300 Hurdles, Channelle Lyons in the 100 Hurdles, REnae Kapelka in the Long Jump and the 4 x 200 Relay Team of Taylor Sours, Megan Kreais, Peyton Hoover and Roerdink.
Second places were grabbed by Megan Kreais in the High Jump, Corrin Hoover in the Pole Vault and 300 Hurdles, the 4 x 800 Relay Team of Kapelka, Leiter, Corrin Hoover and Ashley Brickner and the 4 x 400 Relay Team of Corrin Hoover, Peyton Hoover, Elizabeth Wells and Roerdink.
