The Lady Chieftains took the Runner-Up spot at the Annual Schultz Invite held at Fostoria Stadium, their highest finish at the Schultz since 2010. Lizzie Erlanger took the lone first place with a win in the 200,but there were plenty of second places in the 10 team invitational. Camie Tidswell, Marissa Shaver, Grace Portentoso and Madisen Crites-Kline got the nite off to a good start finishing second in the 4 x 1600 relay. Also getting seconds were the 4 x 800 team of Emily Pace, Natalie Hunt, Hunter Strahm and Jazmine Nutter, the 4 x 200 team of Erlanger, Strahm, Courtney Palte and Bailey Jameson and the 4 x 100 team of Renae Kapelka, Gala Morel, Palte and Strahm. Individual seconds were claimed by Jameson in the Long Jump, Erlanger in the 100 Hurdles and Pace in the 800. The team is definitely getting stronger as the tournaments get closer !!!
